They currently have challenging but rewarding opportunities for Waking Night Staff to join their team in Rugby.

Within this position you will be there to care, support and supervise our client’s children and young people during the night. If one of them wakes during the night you will use your expert knowledge to deal with any situation that arises, if you require support you can call on the sleeping-in-staff. To ensure you are fully prepared and equipped for the shift ahead a thorough handover will be completed, this will be to make you aware of any ongoing or outstanding issues such as medical, behavioral, paperwork changes as well as the residential environment.  

Other responsibilities include cleaning and maintenance work around the home, ensuring it is always well presented and a welcoming environment. You will work on a 4 on, 4 of shift pattern.

This is a great opportunity to professionally progress as it is required that you achieve a level three diploma in Residential Childcare, this will be supported, encouraged and funded by the company.

About you
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in a similar position in a residential setting and must be proactive in participating in in-house training. You will have the ability to make written records and communicate verbal reports. You must also be able to build positive relationships, maintain professional standards and have a flexible approach with working hours/shifts. You must have held a full UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months.
