Web Manager
THE COMPANY:
Brewster Partners are working with our client to recruit a suitably experienced Web Manager to join their digital marketing team at head office level. The role would suit an experienced digital web manager looking to make their next move. Parking on site and easily commutable from areas of Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Worksop, Wakefield and surrounding areas.
THE JOB:
The job involves working closely with the Head of Digital and the wider digital team to deliver the roadmap for customer facing digital platforms, as well as ensuring all websites and applications are operating effectively on a day to day basis.
Duties will include launching new/redesigned platforms, as well as evolving the functionality and features of existing systems. This will also cover day to day platform management, including maintenance and bug fixing, content management, optimisation and user training.
Responsibilities will also include the management and production of digital assets, as well as working with the IT and other internal teams to support the delivery and maintenance of internal digital platforms. Areas of responsibility include:
* Delivery of new or redesigned customer facing platforms, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
* Delivery of the development roadmap for each of the respective digital platforms, working closely with external providers and internal stakeholders.
* Monitoring the performance of the respective digital platforms, promptly resolving any technical issues and making recommendations for performance optimisation opportunities.
* Ensuring platforms are regularly patched and adhere to GDPR, marketing compliance and all other relevant legislation and guidance.
* Content management of the respective digital platforms, working closely with the PR and Content Manager to ensure content is engaging, SEO friendly and regularly refreshed.
* Identification and evaluation of new digital tools and platforms, pro-actively making recommendations to the Head of Digital to drive change through the adoption of new technologies.
* Management and production of digital assets ensuring UX best practice and brand guidelines are adhered to.
* Management of digital platform suppliers, contractors and agencies including day to day management and regular performance reviews.
* Support the Head of Digital to deliver the Digital Strategy, working closely with a broad range of business stakeholders.

?? Excellent adobe creative package skills
?? Excellent communication and written skills
?? Excellent excel skills
?? Excellent ICT skills
?? Highly analytical and full of ideas
?? Excellent relationship builder
?? Strong problem-solving skills
?? Regularly read industry specific blogs and news
Capable of managing a broad range of projects and activities
?? 2+ years' experience working as part of a digital team
?? 2+ years' experience of managing digital platforms
?? Experience of digital project delivery
?? Experience using CRM systems and communication platforms
?? Experience of working with multiple CMS
?? Experienced user of Google Analytics
?? Experience of agency management
Experience of producing digital assets
The following areas of experience are desirable:
?? Conversion rate optimisation
?? UX design
?? Digital design
?? Experience working within the construction sector
?? Experience of building websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
