Hours 35 per week (9 day fortnight optional)

As one of our HR Advisors, you will provide a proactive, customer focused and professional generalist Human Resources advisory service to managers and employees dealing with a diverse range of HR responsibilities. In this varied role, your main duties will be to cover employee relations issues including: performance management, absence management, contractual changes and policy development/compliance as well as supporting other members of the team with recruitment and HR administration.

Having previously held an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist position, within a busy Human Resources Department, you’ll be experienced in advising managers on a range of employment relations issues and have the ability to work independently; managing your own caseload and developing effective working relationships across the organisation.  With an up to date knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and employment relations issues, you’ll have the ability to contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures and lead on HR projects as and when required.

Ideally holding a CIPD Level 5 Certificate or Diploma (or studying towards or equivalent experience), you’ll be a competent IT user, especially when using Microsoft office packages and HR Databases.
