Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we are looking for a Project Manager to work as part of the team delivering our Development Growth Strategy 2018-23. You’ll support the development of our exciting vision for delivering ‘Market Making’ new homes across the areas we operate in; delivering 1000 new homes over the next 8 years.

Ensuring effective contractual and technical control of all developments, you will pro-actively progress identified opportunities in line with the Land Executive and ensure schemes are developed/re-developed on time, on budget, to high standard and in accordance with developmental and strategic objectives.

We ask that you hold a HNC/HND in Building Studies (or equivalent) and have proven experience in property, development construction or a related field. With knowledge of the property development process, the built environment and principles of good design, including homes for rent and sale, you will have a proven track record of project management/delivery on time and on budget and be able to work collaboratively with others to deliver high quality services.

With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to demonstrate effective decision making and problem-solving skills and prioritise workload effectively in the best interests of the business and customer. You’ll need experience of carrying out consultation with tenants/customers regarding planning works or significant building projects and be able to write effective and accurate and persuasive reports and presentations for a range of audiences which include customers, design team, contractors and staff. Knowledge of planning regulations, building regulations and other related legislation such as party wall regulations is also a must.
