This is an exciting opportunity for a senior manager with excellent interpersonal and strategic planning skills to join a forward thinking General Practice in Keynsham, Bristol.
We are a Practice of four Partners and six GP Associates, with an enlarging patient list size which currently stands at 10,500.
We have a cohesive practice team focused on delivering high-quality care that is patient centred.
We are a training practice and also involved in the development of Physician Associates and teaching medical students of all years at Bristol University.
Candidates will need significant leadership experience together with business and financial management expertise.
The successful candidate will lead and support a cohesive team and ensure the smooth day to day running of this busy practice.
You will lead all aspects of business planning, nurture and further develop our culture of innovation and quality, and effectively manage planned service changes within the practice through delivery of service improvement plans.
You will keep abreast of new emerging ideas and best practice, and you will understand the essential ingredients required to make general practice successful by achieving business effectiveness whilst maintaining a strong patient centred ethos.
You will also work collaboratively with our key partners within the wider health and care community, ensuring we are an active participant in the major change and developments that are underway as described in the NHS Long Term Plan and associated GP contract reform.
This position is offered on a full-time basis with a salary range of up to £50K and the benefit of entry to the NHS pension scheme.
Experience of general practice is a clear advantage and an NHS background is highly desirable but not essential.
