My client is a school for children aged 11-16 and is part of a wider Academy Trust located in Reading and was established through the vision of the West of Wokingham group. They are backed by a supportive community, local organisations and the outstanding educational expertise of CfBT Schools Trust. All of these groups have a stake in making the school the best it can be.
They require enthusiastic, skilled and flexible individuals to join our team and support pupils with a range of additional needs. The role will involve mentoring and supporting the learning of individual pupils and small groups under the direction of the teachers.
Applicants will need to have a good standard of education, particularly written and spoken English. Experience of working with pupils with communication difficulties, dyslexia and autism would be an advantage, but not essential. The Learning Support department offer great opportunities for training and development as well as there being a good scope for career progression.
