We are one of the largest recycler and remanufacturers of printer cartridges in Europe and have also developed an exciting range of 3D Printers and 3D Pens, branded with the famous Polaroid name. The company has an enviable reputation for product quality and a blue chip client base across Europe. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant. We are looking for a reliable individual who has a proven track record in a similar position to join a team in this challenging and fast-moving business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger and the day-to-day processing of purchase invoices in a timely manner. Part of a 6-strong finance team, there will be plenty to learn and you will report to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Check, match and input supplier invoices.
+ Liaise with supplier credit controllers for payment requests and other general queries.
+ Check and process staff expense claim forms and credit card statements.
+ Carry out the closing of the purchase ledger every month-end.
+ Prepare payment runs and forecast supplier payments for cash flow purposes. 
+ Maintain close liaison with all departments and in particular the Purchasing department
+ Other Finance tasks as needed from time to time 

Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful you’ll need to demonstrate:


+ Solid experience in a purchase ledger role (at least 1 yr exp in the UK)
+ Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines 
+ Good grasp of Microsoft Office Suite (including Intermediate level Excel and Outlook) together with fast accurate keyboard skills
+ Knowledge and experience of SAP / SAP B1 is an advantage
+ Outstanding communications, negotiation and customer service skills
+ Excellent written and spoken English and good numerical skills
+ Natural organisation ability, planning, prioritising and attention to detail
+ A self-starter with ability to take ownership of activities and assist in solving problems and completing tasks 
+ Careful and precise
+ Good team worker
+ A proactive, confident approach and a positive “can-do” attitude
+ Live within a one hour commute of Park Royal, London NW10
