Mechanical Estimator
Our client is a multi-disciplined Building Services provider operating throughout the North West of England in both the Commercial and Domestic field.
Primary Role - Estimator - Commercial and Domestic Building Services
Our client are seeking to appoint an experienced sales driven Estimator to join our Estimating and Business Development Section.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake all duties associated with the preparation of quotations and tenders primarily but not limited to the Commercial Building Services market for a wide range of clients including builders, local authorities and end users
We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a good understanding of Mechanical Building Services ideally including system design. You should have broad experience of carrying out surveys, client negotiations, developing opportunities and preparing tenders and quotations for mechanical services projects in the GBP5000.00- GBP1m price range.
Knowledge of commercial plumbing is desirable but not essential as training would be given.
Experience of Design & Build tendering would be an advantage
The successful candidate would also be expected to support our service & maintenance team in the preparation of quotations
Preferred Skills I Experience
Wide range of estimating experience
Formal trade or similar qualification
Good knowledge of the Building Services Industry
Experience in the design of domestic I small commercial systems
Good communication and customer facing skills
Good IT skills
Some electrical knowledge would be an advantage
Developing client relationships
