An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Technician to support our Languages provision.

You will work independently using your own initiative as well as being part of a wider technical service provision with customer service at the centre of it. You will ensure service is balanced between customer need and service provision and be able to use your own initiative to provide solutions.

Experience of working in a customer-centric service is essential, with experience of using specialist software. You will have a demonstrable record of successful team-working. It is desirable that you have experience of supporting students in higher education.

This role is part of our Technical Services department which has been established to bring together technical strategy, governance, development, operations and support functions into a coordinated Service, aiming to improve overall service experience whilst also improving resource efficiency.

The role is available fixed term for 12 months and is part time, at 16 hours per week.
