Job Role:

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager, with fluent German and English and a proven experience in B2B selling within the civil/structural engineering or steelwork industry?

The Company specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of integrated, future-proofed mezzanine flooring solutions for major logistics and manufacturing centres in Europe. Their services maximise space and help optimise storage, warehousing & distribution and production processes for today's evolving businesses. They work with a number of high profile companies around Europe.

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for generating sales leads through traditional methods such as networking, market research and target sales initiatives
  • Following up on these leads in person, by telephone or email
  • Present the company's product solutions to potential customers onsite, at trade shows, exhibitions and other events

The Candidate:

  • Experience in cold calling and lead generation
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and create strategic go-to-market action plans
  • Self-confident and honest
  • Able to present in front of large audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German
  • This is a client facing role and travel will be required

You will be required to travel within Germany to fulfil the role obligations when required, generally working from their offices in Cologne, Germany. However on non-travel days the business is flexible on location, ideally you will be able to work from their offices in West Malling, Kent but working from home will also be considered.
