We are a leading Food Manufacturing group with an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced HR Generalist to join one of our manufacturing sites.
The successful candidate will be a high calibre, forward thinking and commercially focused HR generalist, Qualified and experienced, you'll work closely with the site director and team at our rapidly growing business in Wigan and support them to deliver the objectives of the business.
With strong and demonstrable experience of employee relations and employment law, you'll work across all aspect of the HR remit, and will be responsible for the implementation and success of HR policies, procedures and initiatives
Key accountabilities
* Delivery of the HR/people KPI'S for the business
* Analysing trends in HR/people data and acting on these findings to improve business performance
* Creation and delivery of an effective people plan for the business
* Building trusted relationships with senior managers and leaders in the business
* Providing leadership to drive the delivery of the business' HR plans
* Using experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and talent analytics
* Assisting in building strong talent pipelines and managing recruitment up to senior manager level
* Leads and develops new attraction strategies for the business promoting the employer brand
* Coaching and mentoring management team members to develop performance
* Supporting line managers across the business on organisational structure and resource
* Developing and implementing a robust resourcing strategy for the site
* Working with the site director and management team to develop and implement talent and succession planning for the business
* Creates and implements successful employee engagement strategies and plans for the business
* Leads on employee engagement initiatives to align interests of employees and the business, listening to employee opinion and keeping abreast of the employee relations issues and trends
* Supports the creation of a learning culture within the business and ensures that all people process is linked to this
* Supporting and quality assuring the performance and development processes for the business
Person Specification
They will have to be a strong HR generalist who has experience of working with HR data to analyse people trends and use this to improve performance.

Qualifications and experience
5 + years' experience as an HR manager
CIPD Qualified to level 5
Confidence to apply your knowledge and skills to support the needs of the business
Able to demonstrate your personal ability to make a difference.
Proven experience in influencing, driving change and coaching line managers to deliver results.
