Role Profile

Our client, a successful FMCG business in the Liverpool area, is looking to appoint a new Supply Chain Manager to join their team.

In this crucial role you will manage and oversee end to end supply chain activities for the operation including Production Planning, Material Scheduling, Inventory, Warehousing and Distribution.

Key responsibilities

* Manage teams across Planning, Warehousing and Distribution

* Oversee creation of production plans

* Lead the S&OP process for the site

* Manage customer demand vs forecast

* Drive projects to improve supply chain performance and deliver cost reductions

* Deliver inventory reduction programmes

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

* End to end supply chain experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment

* Proven hands-on experience in material planning, production planning and inventory, and ideally warehousing and logistics

* Track record of delivering improvements in key measures of success such as OTIF, Inventory Cost Savings

* Proven experience managing supply chain teams
