Duration: Full Time, Permanent (2 Posts)
Job Purpose:
To lead, manage and quality assure the delivery of Early Learning and Childcare Services to children and their families across the city, with responsibility for a specified geographical area.
Requirements The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Degree level qualification which is appropriate for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council as a Manager of a Daycare Service for Children or working towards (must be at Level 9)
Responsibilities The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Proven record of effective management and/or supervision of a Early Learning and Childcare team.
Proven track record of motivating, managing and facilitating change.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work co-operatively with others, both internal and external to the organisation.
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use a variety of I.T. packages including email, internet and Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
Ability to ensure that organisation, performance and improvement objectives and standards are achieved.
Ability to make the best use of resources.
Ability to cope with competing deadlines.
