Located in Stoneleigh Park near Coventry, Warwickshire, Lantra is a successful commercially focused charity, providing high quality training and qualification products for skills and workforce development in land-based industries. With a staff of over ninety people and a turnover of £7m, we up-skill more than 85,000 people each year and work with businesses and other stakeholders to create innovative skills solutions.   

We are now looking for an Instructor Co-ordinator to join us on a nine month fixed-term contract and organise quality assurance activities for our network of Training Instructors and Assessors.

As an Instructor Co-ordinator, you’ll help to recruit new Instructors and Assessors and ensure they operate to Lantra’s high standards.  
   
Joining a small team, you will:  
   
- Process the annual membership of Instructors, Customised Provision Instructors and Assessors  
- Ensure that databases are up-to-date with Instructor and Assessor details   
- Organise Instructor/Assessor training  
- Support the Instructor/Assessor screening process, including telephone interviews and skills assessments  
- Co-ordinate spot checks to ensure quality standards are maintained  
- Occasionally travel to attend events 

To be considered, you’ll need:

- Experience of working in a customer service environment 
- Previous experience of managing external sub-contractors  
- Experience of operating to quality systems and processes  
- An understanding of QA (quality assurance) processes 
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to our rural location)

As an Instructor Co-ordinator, you must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Organised and committed, you will also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload.  

Knowledge of the following would be beneficial: Quartz, technical award products or instructor recruitment and quality assurance.
