We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical and Electrical Technician to maintain the department’s electrical and mechanical plant in a serviceable condition including fault finding and rectification.
 
As a Mechanical and Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all electrical plant and equipment/machinery.
 
Primarily this will involve:
 
-Fault finding, repair, installation and maintenance of all electrical and electro-mechanical plant and machinery
-Operating a preventative maintenance system to ensure that the plant and machinery are in good working order
-Assist with the installation of new plant and equipment
-Order and collect spares and equipment for new and existing plant
 
Our ideal candidate will have completed a recognised trade apprenticeship along with a minimum qualification of City & Guilds Part 3 Certificate. You will be a very experienced craftsperson, with trade experience within the water industry being advantageous. A full UK driving licence and a flexible working approach is also essential.
