The Role

This is a key role in the delivery of CITB’s Business plan and future operations - to support construction businesses to have access to the people, skills and training they require through key partnerships, collaborations and networks across the North Hampshire and Surrey area. This will mean engaging and identifying opportunities for collaborative working with employer groups, training providers and stakeholders.

Forging strong relationships with a wide range of people and organisations, you will be at the forefront of supporting construction employers to access the right training that they need in the way that works for them. Connecting employers to local initiatives that will help them to realise their business ambition and raise the profile of the Construction Industry as a priority sector. You will be instrumental in attracting people to enter the construction sector through boosting the visibility of its positive image across the South.

You will do this in a range of different ways - from building partnerships and developing solutions - through to working on collaborative projects to enable the delivery of training in innovative ways to meet the needs of local employers..

About you

Educated to a minimum of A Level (or equivalent) you are a creative, innovative thinker with a track record of encouraging others to adopt new ways of working with a range of different stakeholders and partners. You’ll bring to the role good knowledge of education and skills programs and their funding mechanisms. We expect you to have experience of managing and delivering successful projects in a collaborative way. Experience of delivering inspiring presentations, organising events and business planning is essential. Your flair for building relationships and influencing people at a senior level really sets you apart.

Frequent travel across local areas and Great Britain will be a requirement of the role.
