Bank Domestic Assistant

£8.43 per hour

Situated in the peaceful, leafy suburb of Llanishen in the north of Cardiff, Ty Coch has been providing nursing for more than 20 years. The modern, purpose-built home has 63 ensuite bedrooms, two well-furnished lounges, a dining room and a dedicated entertainment lounge all of which provide a place to come together to socialise, participate in-group activities, or entertain visitors. Residents can also visit the coffee shop which has complimentary tea and coffee making facilities allowing them to enjoy refreshments together or with visitors.

We are currently looking to recruit a self-motivated Domestic Assistant to provide high quality cleaning services throughout the Nursing Home.

Your duties will include:

· Ensuring that all rooms and common spaces are properly cleaned and maintained throughout the building.

· Developing a positive relationship with all residents, staff and other visitors to the home by becoming an integral part of the housekeeping team.

To successfully undertake this role, you will be a good communicator, have excellent customer service skills, understand our elder’s needs and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Previous experience of working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner is essential and you must be committed to providing a high quality service at all times. Please remember, that this is a Nursing Home, and as such our residents can at times be unwell. You must be comfortable working around people who are unwell, including end of life care.
