To be considered for this role you must be an enthusiastic graduate who has previous experience working with children in a school-based role, you will possess exceptional communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships quickly. The hired Primary Teaching Assistant will be a graduate who is able to show a real passion for teaching and can motivate pupils to perform at their best.
Maths Graduate - Primary Teaching Assistant Role
In this Primary Teaching Assistant post you will be working primarily within Year 6 supporting and developing students' mathematical skills across the year group. Your duties will include running 1:1 and group intervention sessions for a few selected pupils who need extra support in Maths for their SAT exams. As a Primary Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute to lesson planning and preparation as you hone your teaching skills, eventually taking additional responsibility. This school likes to develop well-rounded pupils, therefore candidates who are willing to participate in, or even lead an after-school club will be warmly welcomed.
