A well-respected and rapidly growing NCSC Certified Cyber Security Consultancy is seeking an additional Security Consultant.
The successful candidate will initially work in a busy team in central Glasgow, where we provide a managed security service to a major client. A willingness to work more widely within the UK would be an advantage.
Cyber Security Consultant Responsibilities will include:

+ Assessing and communicating cyber security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Proposing cost effective and proportionate controls to address those risks
Requirements:
+ At least 5 years’ experience in cyber security consultancy, preferably in risk management focussed roles (Essential).
+ Able to communicate authoritatively on all aspects of cyber risk, with a good understanding of technical vulnerabilities, threat and controls (Essential)
+ A current (or recently lapsed) UK SC clearance (Desirable).
+ Certification as a Practitioner or Senior Practitioner SIRA or IA Architect in the CCP scheme (Desirable).
Candidates will be expected to have the experience and "soft skills" to understand a customer's requirements and help them to improve their organisational security, backed up with the technical cyber experience to advise them on security architecture, governance, compliance, policy and legal/regulatory requirements.
