Unique opportunity for an experienced Bioinformatics Scientist to join a highly successful organisation in a brand-new role.
Are you confident applying statistical and bioinformatics tools in the analysis of complex datasets? Do you have a good understanding of Genomics/ Genetics? Have you worked with PK, NGS and/or immunogenicity datasets? Then this could be the role for you!
Using your previous experience of data processing you will work with a variety of project teams by applying statistical and bioinformatics tools to support a range of studies, including GLP/GCP studies. Work will include PK analysis for toxicology and clinical studies, calculating immunogenicity cut points for validation studies, and bioinformatics for NGS projects.
To be considered for this role you will possess:
- Qualification(s) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistics or similar
- Proven experience applying statistical and/ or bioinformatics tools in the analysis of complex datasets
- Knowledge of applications such as genomics, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, NGS
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex information to non-specialist audiences
