We at Atalian Servest have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Manager to join the team!

The role of Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the a dedicated Client, covering operational delivery of cleaning services across a number of buildings within the portfolio. The candidate will ensure services are delivered in line with contract specification and periodically audited to ensure compliance, provide management support and leadership to a core team of direct operatives and manage all aspects of supply chain delivery for a number of services. The Cleaning Manager will manage the appropriate customer relationships within Client organisations providing any necessary escalation points and ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved.

Duties include:

-Leading and motivating a team of Cleaning Operatives
-Stock Management of consumables and spares
-Ensuring that all employees have the appropriate training to carry out their role
-Ensure latest cleaning technology is implemented and under control, instruction and supervision where necessary.
-Ensuring that equipment is safe to use and in good working order.
-Manage all escalations and performance management arising.
-Monitoring performance of Cleaning Team
-Undertake Safety Briefings and Toolbox Talks
-Induct new starts and obtain new start paperwork for Payroll and Human Resources
-Provide a H&S induction for all new staff and ensuring the appropriate paperwork is signed off
-Support and advise staff on site H&S issues
-Reporting all incidents / accidents promptly and taking corrective action where required
-Any other task, as directed by the Client, Cleaning Manager or Senior Manager within the Company.
-Liaising with the client to ensure there are no issues on site

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

-Experience and strong knowledge relating to use of cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals and substances (COSHH)
-Previous Management and Supervisory experience, having monitored and checked the work of other staff, and provided training or guidance to new staff.
-Experience in client management
-Observant and thorough
-Effective communication skills
-Efficiency and discretion
-Time management and multitasking
-Strong communication skills

This role may require Disclosure Scotland. Baseline or other similar security clearance may also be required.

Hours and Environment

Working hours are from 08:00am to 17:00 Monday to Friday, however you may be required to be flexible to suit the needs of the business.
