About the Role:
City of Bristol College is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Head of Quality for Classroom based provision. This position is full time and will be based at the Ashley Down site. The role will take a lead in supporting the Assistant Director, Quality and Standards in the use of accurate and effective quality improvement measures to support high levels of achievement for all students, both for further and higher education. This involves working closely with the Quality team and Heads of Department to review, monitor and respond to in year trends and apply appropriate quality measures to secure improvement.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- The quality assurance of classroom based provision for both further and higher education
- Providing data analysis of key data sets and preparing reports integral to the improvement of quality
- Developing strategies and support to ensure compliance with awarding organisations
- Ensuring good relationships with awarding organisations by acting as the key account manager
- Planning and co-ordinating audit activity to support quality improvement
- Working with University Validating partners and lead on Higher Education Quality Code
We are looking for someone with experience and good skills in data analysis and report writing who is confident in working in a fast paced environment, with changing priorities.
You will also need to be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, at all levels, internally and externally, as well as other members of College staff and students.
