Press Operator
Temporary to Permanent
Newtown (Powys)
GBP9.40 per hour to GBP10.44 per hour (depending on shift)
Afternoons (2pm to 10pm) and Nights (10pm to 6am)
Due to an increase in workload, our client is seeking Press Operators to join their team on / Afternoons / Nights.
The Role:
As a Press Operator you will be required to operate compression and injection moulding machines in order to produce high quality bonded seals.
Duties will include:
• Prepare, load and operate a range of compression and injection moulding machines.
• Visually inspect components produced, documenting and reporting defects as necessary
• Ensure that work carried out is to high standard.
• Follow work instructions to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Accurately update records and logs in line with job requirements.
• Ensure your work space is kept clean and tidy at all times.
The applicant:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Attention to detail
• Manual dexterity
• Enthusiastic and willingness to learn
