Job Purpose

As a Digital Paid Media Manager, you will be responsible for building strategic, long term relationships with key stakeholders across multiple clients and suppliers. You will be working across multiple channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social and Display. 

You will be required to ensure that your accounts are optimised in-accordance with best practice and making sure that the client KPIs are being met. You will be capable of delegating to and training junior team members ensuring they support you with editorial, optimisation, reporting and admin tasks. You will also be required to support the senior members of the team on developing the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Building strategic relationships with key client and supplier stakeholders via phone, email and face-to-face meetings
- Working with the Digital Paid Media Executives to ensure the optimisation and management of paid search, social and display campaigns across multiple clients is carried out to best practice standards
- Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and analysis of daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
- Ensuring the management, distribution and optimisation of client budgets to achieve client campaign objectives is carried out
- Working with the Digital Paid Media Specialists and Head of Digital Paid Media to strategically develop clients and test new channels, targeting opportunities and Betas to help meet client KPIs and leading the strategy review meetings
- Ensuring any new clients are implemented into the team with strategic plans and then developed into long term clients – you will work closely with the Digital Paid Media Specialists to achieve this
- Working with the Digital Paid Media Specialists and Head of Digital Paid Media to achieve the 30, 60, 90 day plans for the department
- Delegating day to day work to junior team members and ensuring their work is quality assured. You will also be required to train junior team members to allow them to complete their tasks.
- Awareness of time vs retainer, planning in work, managing clients’ expectations and escalating concerns or upsell opportunities where necessary
- Working closely with other teams in the agency such as SEO, Content and Web Development
- Helping the Inbound team product quality content for the company website through blogs and webinars
- Prioritise workload to meet both internal and client deadlines
- Work closely with the wider team to expand knowledge and ensure best practice is adhered to across all channels
- Correctly managing and planning jobs (time, billing plans, opportunities, quotes and POs etc.) on Synergist and tracking time accurately and on time. 

Skills

As the Digital Paid Media Account Manager, you will need: 

Essential skills/experience:

- At least 2 years’ experience in digital paid media
- Highly motivated and passionate about digital media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skills
- Excellent Excel skills – skilled at advanced data manipulation
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Able to think both strategically and tactically

Desirable skills/experience -

- AdWords and Google Analytics qualified
- Other marketing qualifications
- Experience of Amazon shopping
- Facebook advertising
