Product Manager

Corsham, Wiltshire

Permanent Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Product Manager to join their Product Management team.  This is an exciting new position to support their product strategy and ensure that they continue to deliver an exceptional service.

About you

Our client is looking for a flexible, self-motivated, energetic individual with a proven track record of working within a software product management role with full product life cycle experience within a fast-paced environment.  You should have agile experience with very strong organisation skills and be able to manage your own workload to actively support the company’s continued growth.

The successful candidate should be degree educated within a business, IT or numerate discipline.  Experience of working within a Pharmaceutical/healthcare environment would be desirable but not essential.

Your skills should include being able to quickly grasp knowledge about their product’s users and industry, be decisive and able to support their decisions with research.  You must be a very strong and clear communicator with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties and be passionate for creating solutions with a positive attitude for change.

What will be expected of you

You will be responsible for:

  • A number of software product initiatives both mature and in early development.
  • Contributing towards product strategy and vision

As part of this your tasks will include but not exclusive to;

  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements which are provided to the development teams
  • Owning and maintaining the product backlog
  • Facilitating estimation sessions, to help prioritisation of features and inform the product backlog
  • Tracking progress of delivery, communicating clearly with stakeholders on status
  • Building strong relationships with all departments in the business
  • Inspiring and enthusing colleagues and users of the product

About the company
