Blue Octopus is a leading provider of talent solutions and technology in the UK. Following industry-leading growth and the relocation of our head office to Leeds City Centre, we’re now looking for high-calibre individuals to join our team as Client Delivery Coordinators.

Who are we

In a world where connectivity is so central to our working lives, we believe our approach to talent should be no different. Bringing a bold attitude and fresh thinking to the table, we help our clients to improve their candidate experiences, build strong, engaging employer brands and deliver clear, calculable ROI for their respective budgets.

We’re now embarking on an incredibly exciting journey that will see us use advanced technology to disrupt the recruitment market – and that’s why we’re currently looking for top talent to join us.

Your role

Managing a selection of accounts, you’ll provide a recruitment service to clients, proactively managing vacancies throughout the duration of the campaign and reviewing your responses daily to ensure each one attracts the most appropriate candidates. You’ll also coordinate all administrative duties, delivering exceptional customer service to candidates with whom you will liaise with daily, all within our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Specific responsibilities of your role will include:

  • Liaising with clients prior to commencing work in order to fully understand their recruitment needs (eg discussing past frustrations, other avenues previously used, the person they’re looking to recruit and competitors)
  • Planning how to train and support your clients with the Blue Octopus recruitment system, depending on the product they have selected
  • Proactively managing your own selection of accounts, working towards becoming a knowledgeable leader in your sector
  • Proactively resourcing suitable candidates, using job site databases, LinkedIn Recruiter Licences, social networking sites and our internal headhunting team
  • Arranging and booking all interviews, providing candidates with full information on their scheduled interview, prepping them with vital information and having in-depth conversations after interview to obtain feedback
  • Regularly communicating with clients, providing updates on the response, recommending changes to the approach or role based on industry and market feedback, building trust and strong relationships along the way
  • Where appropriate, looking for potential opportunities to upsell on the current package or encourage renewals, working with the Sales team to increase the potential business
  • Proactively managing your own time to be able to thrive in an environment where no two days will be the same

About you

While experience in recruitment or account management would be beneficial, we’re also keen to hear from people with transferable skills. What’s most important to us is that our new team members are hardworking professionals who have the communication skills to build strong relationships and a desire to progress within a fast-growing company.

We are open to hearing from Administrators with exceptional organisation skills or candidates who are currently in a sales role looking to be more office based and wanting to focus on account management.
