IBP Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Banqueting & Events Manager based in a beautiful Cotswolds.

This busy 35 bedroom hotel is a fast paced environment which in addition to the Bar, Brasserie & Restaurant also caters for up to approximately 70 weddings a year plus private events of up to 100 people.

We are recruiting for a Banqueting & Events Manager to join our client to continue building and leading a strong and well trained team.

Reporting to the General Manager the Banqueting & Events Manager will work alongside the Wedding & Events Coordinator. This is a customer facing, hands on role which includes events co-ordination, bookings, show rounds, assisting with room set up and all function services.

As Banqueting & Events Manager, Duty Management training will be given and you will be fully responsible for the hotel in some instances.

Ideal Candidate for the Banqueting & Events Manager role:

Previous experience in a similar role
Able to manage both the administrable & floor based aspects the role requires
Excellent motivational and engagement skills
Able to quickly build rapport and relationships
Strong communication and English language skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
