The Entrust CEO role is responsible for leading a c.GBP75m revenue business comprising of c.500 FTE. Entrust provides professional Education Services to Academies, Maintained Schools and Local Authorities in the West Midlands, with ambitions to grow nationally.
It is a Joint Venture between Capita and Staffordshire County Council (SCC), formed in 2013. The relationship between the two partners is cohesive and collaborative. The CEO must possess the necessary skills to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
Entrust provides services spanning a wide spectrum of disciplines including Education Training and support, Schools Estates and Maintenance, Schools IT and Finance, Outdoor Education experiences and a developing Online presence. The services are subject to regular governance scrutiny around Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Information Security. This can have an immediate effect on the Capita\Entrust\SCC brands and reputations and therefore delivery of excellent service is critical. You must be forensic in your desire to improve outcomes for customers and staff alike. The role will require you to set and execute the strategy, allocate resources and lead the team to achieve Entrust Capita and SCC's objectives.
The business is a complex day-to-day operation, with multiple strategies overlaying the business goals. You will be required to ensure that all elements of Strategy, Business Development, Customer Service and Operations run smoothly and successfully, including staff safety, service levels, financial performance and customer satisfaction, as required to ensure Entrust achieves its business objectives.
You will be responsible for owning and building relationships with SCC, Department for Education and other major Education market stakeholders to ensure that Entrust is able to grow, increase stakeholder value through the delivery of high quality services.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader in delivering measurable quality customer outcomes, running sizeable operations and developing a high performing culture. Must have a strong track record in generating growth and complex contract negotiations experience.
This individual will be collaborative, decisive and effective in approach and previously worked in a large service based environment running multi-faceted and complex operations. A good understanding of the public sector is also essential for this role.
