Our client, a UK leader in the food process industry is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The job is located in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
The role requires working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern on 6am-6pm shifts so flexibility is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and carrying out improvements to the equipment within the facility.
* Both electrical and mechanical maintenance will be a part of the role.
* Aim to keep downtime to a minimum whilst working to maintain quality, hygiene and health and safety standards.
* Works will include working on conveyors, elevators, inverters and pressure systems (steam and pneumatic).
* Obtain quotations for spares and consumable stocks, whilst overseeing small project installations from concept to handover.
* Ensure health & safety, and legal compliance at all times.
You will:
* Be a time-served electrical engineer with relevant qualifications, with exposure within an electrical maintenance position.
* Have good working mechanical knowledge.
* Have been involved in PPM and project work ideally within a food process environment.
* Have experience of PLC controls.
* Be a reliable, highly organised person, with the ability to work well under pressure.
