Key responsibilities – Global Sales Manager:

  • Work with the Board of Directors to identify most profitable markets to target
  • Target and develop markets identified
  • Support and develop relationships with current dealerships, encouraging their growth
  • Assist and work with marketing and sales team to promote company branding
  • Represent the company at UK and International trade shows, expo’s etc.
  • Support new and existing distributors in understanding the Company’s products, processes and technical standards
  • Prepare contractual documentation
  • Respond in an appropriate manner and timescale to distributor and client enquiries
  • Monitor distributors performance through effective account management and audits
  • Prepare regular reports, KPI’s, financial for Board of Directors

Personal specification – Global Sales Manager:

  • Be passionate about sales and business development with a proactive approach, a will to succeed
  • Proven sales experience within a global market, ideally within self-adhesive labels, printing machinery etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of preparing and interpreting contractual documentation
  • Able to prioritise a busy work schedule
  • Be able to travel overseas on a regular basis
  • A highly professional, friendly personality yet persuasive and charismatic
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • You will be confident presenting to individuals and groups
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients at all levels
  • Good IT skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Second language would be useful
