Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we are now looking for a Property Surveyor to deliver planned, capital and cyclical works programmes to properties and stock condition surveys. Maximising satisfaction levels whilst complying with our policies, procedures and financial regulations, you will deliver high quality customer orientated services and seek continuous improvements to achieve top quartile housing management performance and customer satisfaction.

As Property Surveyor, you must ensure that all planned maintenance works commissioned by Johnnie Johnson Housing are completed to the correct specification and standards. You will assist the Investment Programme Manager with the management of minor works contracts and project work as well as carrying out stock condition surveys to Johnnie Johnson Housing stock as directed by the Asset Manager.

So if you hold a recognised construction qualification (HNC, HND) and have significant experience of managing building contractors, preferably in a social housing related environment, then we would love to hear from you! We ask that you have current knowledge of building construction and products relevant to social housing properties and schemes and have experience of budget control and ensuring value for money is achieved.  We would also like to hear from you if you have good working knowledge and experience of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.

With excellent communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative, you will have experience of delivering a customer focused service and in all aspects of resident consultation. You will have knowledge of CDM and issues surrounding Health & Safety in construction and have good IT skills to include preparing spreadsheets, using word and relevant housing software.
