We are currently recruiting Operators for our client based in Hayes on a temporary ongoing long term contract with a view to becoming permanent for the right applicants.
Our client is a well established reputable steel company. The multinational consists of eight large business groups with steel producers, rolling mills, processing plants, distribution companies and recycling centres. Job description:
Production Operator
The Role
* Operate equipment and machinery
* Follow strict Health & Safety processes
* Report any situations which could cause potential problems
* Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed
* Work with other team members and shifts to ensure effective running of the process
The Person
Applicants with have previous manufacturing, labouring or construction experience . Understand the importance of safety rules and be able to work within a team environment .
You will need to be robust and have good awareness of what is going on around you.
* Production experience ideally gained within a manufacturing environment
* Experience operating machinery
* Good attitude towards Health & Safety
* Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
In return we are able to offer excellent rates of pay , generous overtime, ongoing training and support.
Salary : Up to GBP24,000 pa
