About the role:
Or client have multiple opportunities currently in this area of our business, this is a fantastic new role to become a first point of contact to help identify, record and ensure ALL regulatory breaches of the law are handled in accordance with company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
Primary purpose of the role:
To be a first point of contact for Pensions Management staff in your site to help identify, record and ensure ALL breaches of the law are handled in accordance with company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
To facilitate root cause analysis on breaches of the law, complaints, technical errors, quality failures and non-conformities, with monitoring the implementation of corrective action.
Undertake further governance and change activities for Pensions Management.
Key responsibilities
* Be the primary contact in your site to promote awareness of breaches and the company procedures.
* Develop knowledge and experience to determine if a breach has occurred and whether escalation to the Technical and Risk & Compliance Teams or local Senior Management is necessary.
* Report breaches immediately to the Technical and Risk & Compliance Teams and local Senior Management which are classified as 'incidents' in line with Private Section Division (PSD) policies.
* Review of management information on breaches, complaints, quality and technical data for Pensions Management.
* Analyse MI, and identify corrective actions to prevent future recurrence of breaches, non-conformities, errors and failures.
* Ensure that the root cause analysis process has been undertaken and recorded on the Sharepoint site, monitoring the implementation of corrective actions and evaluating effectiveness.
* To produce MI Reports for Risk Committee and other relevant governance forums.
* Review and progress audit actions and monitor/track progress to completion.
* Support ad-hoc governance and change activities in Pensions Management.
Key tasks
* Ensure that all breaches are accepted or appropriately transferred to another breach specialist in the central team within the first 24 hours.
* Carry out first stage review of reported breaches and submit escalations where required.
* Support staff to record all breaches correctly on the Sharepoint site.
* Cascade any initial training/refresher training to their relevant Pensions Management site(s).
* Ensure that 'New Starter' training regarding breaches is being delivered within Pensions Management and providing support to the trainer as required.
* Breach specialists should regularly review the breaches that have been allocated to them on the Sharepoint site, and those completed/resolved in the previous month. Look at for trends, root cause analysis and any improvements to be made; e.g. training or procedural changes.
* To track regularly corrective action on the Sharepoint site for breaches of the law, complaints, technical errors, quality failures and non-conformities.
* Consider preventative actions and escalate as necessary to prevent potential for breaches of the law, complaints, technical errors, quality failures and non-conformities.
* Undertake secretariat functions and attend Breach Oversight Forum to review breach activity, trends, corrective actions, and share experience/best practice.
* Assist and contribute to continual review of breach reporting procedures.
* Ensure that all relevant CBT is kept up to date and attend any training sessions as and when required
