We currently have great opportunities within our Newport office, to join us as Marketing Executives, as part of our Digital Marketing Services (DMS).
Newsquest is one of the largest regional media companies in the UK. We employ an experienced sales force of multimedia and marketing specialists who help local businesses generate awareness and promote their products and services to local audiences. Our parent company is Gannett Inc, the largest news publisher in the US, with titles including USA Today.
The Role
The primary function of our Marketing Executive role is to build out the B2B marketing communications for our DMS business to both new and existing SME advertisers. The role spans 3 main areas of responsibilities: designing and executing outbound marketing campaigns to generate leads for our sales organisation, delivering sales and marketing collateral for use internally and externally, and leading the content marketing strategy for our DMS business (writing blogs, LinkedIn, managing online presence including website maintenance & development, etc.).
This role will have a reporting line into the SME Solutions Marketing Manager
About You
This role would suit an individual who is very much a self-starter, willing to develop and learn. This role is not a sales position but has a strong focus on the ability to build and maintain client relationships and services levels, working to deadlines. We are looking for:
• Experience working successfully within a multi-disciplined B2B marketing environment would be preferred, however we are open to look at those who may be starting their career within marketing
A graduate with a degree from a recognised university in one of the following disciplines (due to the nature of the role):
• Marketing/Digital Marketing
• Business or Management
• Knowledgeable in PPC, SEO, Digital Display, Facebook, Content Marketing and other relevant marketing channels/platforms
• Excellent written and spoken command of English is required
• Any additional relevant marketing qualifications/certifications would be preferable
• Strong, confident and articulate communicator, by phone, face to face and written.
• Able to simplify and explain complex scenarios
• Excellent attention to detail is a must
Computer literate; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or Gmail
