Shift Engineer
Spalding, Lincolnshire
Salary: GBP37,000
4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights)
Are you an electrically biased engineer who has recent experience working in a fast paced environment and is on the lookout for a new role?
Our client is a well-established food manufacturer who have a strong reputation for producing a variety of consistently high quality products supplied to major retailers across the UK.
On joining the team, you will be responsible for delivering the planned maintenance schedule, responding to breakdowns and ensuring the smooth operation of the plant.
Ideally, you will hold a relevant electrical qualification and have a strong understanding of modern food production policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
*To deliver the planned maintenance schedule as per plan.
*To respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a time efficient manner.
*To identify and implement continuous improvements to factory equipment.
*To ensure all engineering works complies with health and safety legislation.
*To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce negative impact on the environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
*Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
*Fully conversant with processing and packaging equipment.
*Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills.
*Self-motivated, hard-working and organised.
*Good communication skills.
