Cleaning Operative
On behalf of our client, a large local authority, Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced block cleaner to work as part of a team to deliver an efficient and effective block cleaning service to the properties managed by the local authority.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Undertake all cleaning duties to properties within the block cleaning contract and cleaning frequency schedule ensuring that they are cleaned to the required standard.
This will include some or all of the following:
* Sweeping
* Mopping of all floor areas
* Window cleaning
* Cleaning of all fixtures and fittings including handrails
* Cleaning all tiled areas around the bin chutes
* Cleaning light shades
* Cleaning of graffiti
* Suction cleaning of all carpets where applicable
* Removal of all rubbish bags to the bin areas
* Rotating paladins when working on block properties
Key duties:
* To assist the team leader to ensure that the vehicle is fully equipped at all times to undertake duties required.
* To report to the team leader any unsafe features or repairs required to the Communal areas including any dumped furniture & domestic appliances.
* To liaise with the general public in a courteous manner ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the image of the Service.
* To comply with all Health & Safety legislation and procedures and adhere to C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
* To undertake any training required to carry out the duties of this post to the required standard.
Working hours:
08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
