Property Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced property manager to join a dynamic property business based in Stanmore (North London) that owns and manages a large and growing residential portfolio in London.

The business is part of a larger family office and is seeking an ambitious and driven individual to develop and lead the in-house property management function. The property business has a large development pipeline in London targeted at the young professional rental market that will increase the portfolio further upon completion.

The business prides itself on a reputation for high standards and is looking to develop a property management function that offers market-leading levels of service to its tenants. The property manager will be office-based and have the opportunity to work directly with the Directors of the business to help build a leading property management capability. There is an informal yet professional culture in the office that looks to constantly embrace the latest industry best practice and technological developments.

Property Management Responsibilities:

• Manage own property portfolio - review referencing, prepare ASTs, deposit registration, serve s21 notices, etc
• Coordinate with Lettings Agents for new tenancies, renewals, check-in/out/inventory/inspections, deposit arbitration, etc
• Manage maintenance and repairs with approved contractors and tenants
• Monthly reporting to Directors on rent roll, voids, arrears, etc
• Ensure Property Management software is maintained and updated
• Strong knowledge of current legislation to ensure all regulatory requirements (GSC, EPC, etc) are met

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• At least 3-5 years of property management experience, ideally led a team
• Pro-active approach to problem-solving, well organised and attention to detail
• High professional standards and strong customer service ethos
• Motivated to succeed and progress professionally
• Willingness to assess and implement new property tech/software
• ARLA Level 3 or 4 qualified would be helpful (but not necessary)

Property Manager Package:

• Salary GBP30,000-40,000 (depending on experience)
