Basic GBP29,500 + monthly commission + annual profit related pay

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Award winning client as a Business Development Manager (BDM).
In this fast paced and varied role, you will be responsible for proactively generating new business and account managing existing accounts for the organisation including leading the agency account strategy.
As part of a Business Development Team you will be required to work to individual and team appointment and business conversion targets, building a strong pipeline of new business and developing and strengthening existing accounts.
On average you are out of the office up to 3 times a week and in the office the remaining time.
To be considered for this Business Development Manager's role you must have:
• Minimum of 3 years conference/events/MICE industry experience
• Experience of bidding and winning contracts
• Proactive sales experience
• Be committed and passionate about achieving targets
• Flexibility to travel (clients are nationwide, as such there will be overnight stays)
• Excellent networking skills
• High standards of written and verbal communication
• Ability to use own initiative and drive sales whilst working with a team culture
• Full clean UK driving license
