Job Summary
We are looking for an independent and organized driver/tour guide with excellent communication skills to offer high-quality chauffeuring and tour guiding services to our discerning client base with a high percentage of repeat business. The company will provide its own vehicle.
Fluency in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) is necessary for this role.
Successful candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold full UK driving license for a minimum of 12 months. No more than six points in the last five years. No more than one fault claims and no more than two non-fault claims in the last five years.
Previous experience in a chauffeuring role and tour guiding role ideal, although training will be provided.
Must live in Greater London or the South East, or willing to re-locate.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, passionate and energetic with an ability to manage medium-sized groups of people and provide informative and entertaining commentary. Adaptable, able to research and learn facts and historical information about sites visited across the UK. Good attention to detail, reliable and with a strong sense of responsibility.
Impeccable personal appearance with an ability to deliver the highest levels of customer service and brand awareness.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Providing chauffeuring services and conducting tours throughout the UK
* Have a good knowledge of the UK and London road network; although training will be given
* Be prepared to continually broaden your knowledge on British history and culture
* The ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
* Be adaptable and flexible to the ever-changing needs of the tourism industry
* Work well individually and as part of an enthusiastic team
* To methodically check vehicle prior to use and to maintain vehicle to a high standard
* Flexible hours, weekend work will be required
* Adaptable approach to the role & be willing to take on new tasks
* Office work will be required when not chauffeuring/touring
