An exciting opportunity for an QA Engineer to join a local, well respected organisation based just outside of Ilminster who are currently enjoying some sustained growth;
Key Skills (if you tick most of these boxes, we want to hear from you!)
??Excellent understanding of quality improvement tools
??Practical experience in Quality Assurance
??Background in Manufacturing - Ideally volume, larger batch size or small intricate electro/mech Assemblies (larger or large scale engineered products will probably not be suitable, small intricate e/m assemblies / components would be ideal)
??Solid understanding of RCPS or RCCA tools and techniques
??Work with NPI team, performing studies on new equipment to establish control points and correct settings.
??Ability to analyse nonconforming data and make recommendations for process improvements.
??PPAP, Supplier development, Control Plans,
??Knowledge of various quality system methodologies 8D, Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, 8D, DFMEA, PFMEA
??Good problem-solving abilities using systemic, logical, and sequential approaches
??Training in auditing techniques (advantageous, not essential)
Supporting an complex engineering & manufacturing environment which produces high volume, high value equipment.

They are looking for a Quality professional who can join them and develop (not re-design!) existing quality process & procedures and help steer the companies quality processes for years to come.
The role is offering a competitive salary GBP33 - GBP37k, and will enable a person to develop and steer an exciting product & its Quality initiatives for years to come.
Although we have indicated a salary range, the client is open to justifiable applications outside of this on a case by case basis
