The Role 

As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll support our scientific activities by facilitating the smooth running of our lab.  

In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with Scientists and other team members to support our in vitro studies, which are used to determine the safety and efficacy of customers’ test items.  

Some of your duties will involve:  

- Maintaining the lab and its equipment  
- Helping to maintain human cell cultures  
- Monitoring equipment temperature and liquid Nitrogen levels  
- Carrying out stock checks and ordering supplies  
- Recording and analysing data 

About You  

While no experience is required, to join us as a Laboratory Technician, you’ll need:  

- An interest and commitment to the development and use of in vitro alternatives to animal testing  
- The ability to understand and accurately work in-line with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) 
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel  
- Strong communication skills  
- Excellent attention to detail  

It would be great if you had a degree level qualification in a life sciences subject or experience in this area, but this isn’t essential. Previous experience of a GLP environment would also be an advantage.
