Senior Marketing Analyst | 12 Month FTC | B2B Services | Nuneaton | GBP42,000 - GBP50,000 | Potential to extend or go permanent

* A successful, global B2B services corporate is looking to backfill a 12 month secondment opportunity the current incumbent is taking
* This business's success is a result of ambitious growth strategies that have been achieved over the years plus several global acquisitions
* Although an FTC, this business recruits and treats contractors like they are permanent. Also, it doesn't like to lose good people and there have been many examples of FTC's going permanent
* Strong global brand to have on your CV
* This is a varied analytical and insight role supporting marketing and business strategy, utilising SQL with key three role objectives

About the Role Objective:
The overall objectives of this analytical role are three-fold: 1) reporting on revenue performance; trends and analysis and key drivers. 2) Customer performance, segmentation, trends and analysis, which sectors are performing and 3) Based on 1) and 2) what are the best marketing activities/channels/methods to undertake and how should they be measured?
About the Role Responsibilities:
* Weekly and monthly revenue reporting, analysis and insight both project based and BAU
* Using SQL to extract data (possibly can be learnt IF you tick all other boxes, especially if you have SAS experience)
* Analysing customer performance
* Post Marketing Campaign Analysis (from full-mixed marketing activities); feeding into and shaping campaign strategies and improving retention and acquisition of customers
* Analysing the effectiveness of all customer touchpoints in conjunction with several marketing teams and proposing improvements
* Delivering KPI reports across all campaign activities. Developing and managing reporting methods and processes to improve the understanding of metrics used to measure and improve overall marketing strategies
About the Requirements:
This will suit a Marketing/Insight Analyst looking for a step up or a Business or Finance Analyst looking to get into marketing
* Must be from an Analytical/Insight background at a mid to senior level
* The ability to form "actionable insight" from data
* Advanced Excel
* SAS - advantage
* SQL - ideally, will potentially look outside of this IF you are from marketing analyst
About the Person:
* Analytical and numerical
* Naturally curious and inquisitive
* Excellent communication skills and a desire to be successful
* Intelligent and professional
* Experience in working with cross-functional teams is beneficial
* Comfortable with IT/technology/systems
* Big company background - advantage
