An exciting opportunity has come up for a Housing Officer on a permanent basis in a Housing Association in West London.
However, as well as having the standard Tenancy Management experience, within this role you will be providing high quality customer service to homeowners and provide advice on leasehold and freehold matters, including but not limited to:
* Major Works,
* Minor Works,
* Service Charge,
* Section 20 conslutaions and other statutory and non-staturoty consultations.
You will be responsible for
* Delivering a generic housing service
* Managing rent accounts for all the properties on patch
* Minimising low to high level arrears
* All aspects of tenancy management including carrying out administrative tasks such as sign ups, successions and mutual exchange
* You will also deal with ASB from low level noise nuisance through to representation in court
Ideally you will have
* Proven experience working as a Housing Officer
* Proven track record of reducing arrears on patch
* Solving or mitigating ASB cases through to resolution in court
* Worked with various client groups from general needs through to vulnerable adults
* Clear knowledge and understanding of housing law and legislation
The salary offered is 34k with interviews expected next week Friday, 5th April.
It is preferable that you have an up to date enhanced DBS and a current drivers licence with your own transport.
