Exciting opportunity for a Construction Health & Safety Consultant to join an expanding health and safety team based in London!!!
A leading consultancy is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Consultant to support and assist in the provision of construction health and safety services to both internal and external clients. The team specialises in the provision of a comprehensive range of health and safety advice for the construction sector, working across an array of businesses and a diverse range of sectors, but with a main focus on Infrastructure, rail and water and energy.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of major schemes which would be a fantastic addition to your CV.

Responsibilities:
* Work competently and independently on projects, typically throughout London and the South East
* Work on a wide variety of projects, from new build social housing blocks, high rise office fit-outs, to infrastructure and specialist projects
* Work primarily on CDM commissions
* High technical and commercial standards must be established and maintained as quality of work and added value for our clients, are priorities
* Report, Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files writing
* Attend meetings and client facing discussions
* Present bid pitch's and training provision
* Development of new work and new clients, as well as maintenance of existing clients
* Work closely with all members of the firm who could be either clients or collaborators
Requirements:
* Educated to degree level in a construction related field, preferably a design related degree
* An understanding of the design process and the principles of risk reduction
* A thorough knowledge of the CDM regulations and associated legislation
* Appropriate experience of the design and construction processes
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar technical or professional qualification
* Registered Member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS / CMaPS), with CDM 2015
* Technical membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
* A current record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
