Location: Canary Wharf

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator on behalf of one of our clients.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the recruitment of staff in the Security Department, including the Estate Control Centre and all security promotional boards. To develop a recruitment strategy which supports corporate objectives and enables other functions within the Security Department to achieve their goals in accordance with good Personnel practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To lead on the organisation, design and delivery of Security Officer and Control Room Officer Assessments.
To provide recruitment support and guidance to managers during Security promotional boards.
To evaluate the Security recruitment strategy to ensure best practice and that the best talent is being sourced.
To liaise with the Deputy Estate Security Manager to regularly assess the Security department's resourcing needs.
To provide management with relevant recruitment reports as and when required to analyse trend information to be used to enhance the recruitment strategy.
Formulation of job descriptions.
Conducting interviews.
Liaise with recruitment agencies.
Attend job fairs.
Advertise vacancies, internally, externally with the aim to source a diverse pool of candidates and the best talent.
Draft contracts.
Conduct induction of permanent staff.
Assist with vetting of Security Personnel.
Conduct Security exit interviews and process leaver information and.
Assist with updating Company Application Forms/Application process.
To work closely with the Security Department to plan and implement recruitment campaigns.
Regularly review, develop and introduce new assessments for the security assessment centres and promotion boards.
Prepare a monthly update on recruitment needs/issues and to prepare end of year report on recruitment.
To assist with the recruitment and supply of temporary staff when required including processing and the monitoring and distribution of Agency Ts &Cs letters and to provide advice on Agency Worker Regulations as and when required.
To liaise with the Deputy Head of Security in regards to monitoring and evaluating the Security recruitment budget in line with the needs of the department.
To carry out any other reasonable duties, ad hoc duties/ projects as requested by the Senior Deputy Group Personnel Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A minimum of 2 years recruitment experience is essential, ideally at an advisory level and within the Security/Military/Police or a similar industry.
Must have knowledge of employment law and legislation considerations and the ability to advise on Personnel best practice during the recruitment process.
Experience in designing and delivering effective recruitment assessments is essential.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to design and develop recruitment strategy and deliver successful recruitment campaigns to source the best talent.
Knowledge of BS7858 and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act is desirable.
Strong inter-personal skills combined with a requirement to ensure confidentiality when appropriate are essential.
Must be a team player with a willingness to help others.
Flexible, organised and calm approach to work is essential.
Able to demonstrate understanding of security aspects in a commercially driven and customer orientated business.
Must be diplomatic, with ability to constructively challenge existing practices and capable of driving change.
Excellent communicator with sound organisational and presentation skills.
Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
