Based in Ely this exciting role offers the perfect introduction into a career within our manufacturing department for an enthusiastic candidate with a bright and inquisitive mind. Become part of a small team of technicians working in a cleanroom environment within a company with a global reputation for providing high quality products.
Key responsibilities:
* Assemble/complete a wide range of sensors and assemblies
* Soldering and some wiring and electro-mechanical assembly
* Follow documented Work Instructions and specific Quality requirements
* Work from a prioritised daily schedule.
* Carry out transactions on ERP system
* Keep the work area clean.
* Keep all related shelving areas organized and in good order.
Personal qualities:
* Enthusiastic, with good communication skills
* Self-motivated with high levels of commitment and focus
* Desire to produce work to a very high standard of quality
* Flexibility to adapt to varied nature of work and workload
Required skills:
* Good manual dexterity and very good soldering skills
* Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
* Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping
* Experience and education
* Experience in a similar technical role or cleanroom experience would be preferred, but not essential
* A good educational background
