Digital Communications Officer
£22,000 – £25,000 per annum
36 hours per week, based in Leicester (flexible working considered)

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. We are there for parents when they need us the most, because childhood can’t wait.

Over the next few years Home-Start UK will be delivering new projects to raise our profile and this is an opportunity to help shape that activity and take our digital communications to the next level.

You will need experience in managing social media accounts for a charity or organisation as well as an understanding of the needs of different channels and audiences.

A passion for developing new ideas and creating engaging and relevant content is essential. An ability to edit audio and video is an advantage.

You will combine the ability to manage the technical side of maintaining websites and social media accounts, with an understanding of the power of the right words and images to communicate our messages.

This full time post is based at the Home-Start UK office in Leicester.

If this sounds like your type of challenge we would be delighted to hear from you.

Closing date for applications: 24 April 2019
