A new opportunity has arisen with WEY Education plc, for a Human Resources Advisor to join our team based at our head office in Crickhowell, South Wales. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to GBP25,000 per annum plus benefits.

About the Human Resources Advisor role:
Reporting to the Executive Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for all day to day Human Resources activities as well as supporting the business in other areas as required. Ideally you will be a graduate and CIPD qualified or working toward your CIPD qualification.
There is the potential for the company to support your professional qualifications whilst providing dynamic learning environment for you to develop your potential.
This role will provide varied responsibilities and will offer a degree of responsibility from day one.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Human Resources Advisor:
- Coordination and involvement in recruitment processes, from job descriptions, advertising, pre-screening selection, assessment days through to job offer
- All on boarding processes
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
- Provide HR management KPI data for Senior Managers and Board
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes
- Advice and support on performance management issues
- Learning and Development - from identification of training needs to learning delivery
- Coordination of benefit platforms with advisors and staff
- Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
- Coordinate talent mapping and succession planning processes
- Staff engagement
- 3rd party engagement as required with employment lawyers, benefit advisors, occupational health and HR systems support
- Provide wider business support as and when required including ISO audits and coordinating education resource cover
Skills and experience required to become our Human Resources Advisor:
- Graduate and/or part CIPD qualified
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Personable and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Highly computer literate with knowledge of HR systems
- High level of attention to detail, data accuracy, highly organised
- Good understanding and knowledge of employment law
- An awareness and understanding HR best practice
- Driven and determined
