Selective Group Recruitment is seeking a professional, self-motivated individual with proven planning administration experience to join our client based in Aylesbury for the position of Planning Administrator.

Job role: Planning Administrator

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

JOB SUMMARY

•Assist with the maintenance of an effective and efficient production planning process in accordance with the Company Business Objectives and Targets.

•Work as part of a small team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Raise Works Orders for Sales demands as part of the weekly MRP run.

•Raise Works Orders for any Repair / machine down requests and check for material availability.

•Review the upcoming forecast demand weekly and take action where required.

•Provide delivery dates for new Sales Orders received via Email and Hardcopies. Amend the forecast if required.

•Analyse material and resource for any requested Sales Order swaps.

•Booking in of all Works Orders daily.

•Analysing data daily for the Planning Works Order KPI and update the spreadsheet.

•Review any shortages that will delay Sales shipment. Liaise with the Production Supervisors and notify the Sales Department with new delivery dates.

•Assist with changing stock parameters defaults when requested.

•Analyse and manage MPS/MRP system and ensure that any amendments are resolved in a timely manner.

•Expedite all components and assemblies in accordance with the specified requirements of the MRPII system.

•Assist with the maintenance of the system forecasts based on sales analysis and to ensure they are co-ordinated with the Production and Sales Teams operations.

•Implementation and management of MPS and capacity planning.

•Analyse and manage MPS/MRP system and ensure that any amendments are resolved in a timely manner.

•Maintain the capacity planning system and ensure all times and routing data is accurate.

•Expedite all components and assemblies in accordance with the specified requirements of the MRPII system.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Essential

•MRP Planning experience

•Worked within a manufacturing environment

•Strong administration skills/experience.

Desirable:

•SAP planning experience.
