A new and superb role has arisen in a proactive hands-on role, working across Marketing, Product, Sales and Pre-Sales to produce compelling propositions from start to finish. Reporting to the Senior Propositions Manager, you will lead the creation and launch of compelling and profitable propositions

Working within a wider team, your role will be to understand the current and future needs of target customers and translate these needs into competitive propositions.

Responsibilities will include:

* Conduct the appropriate research for each proposition, to deeply understand:

-our customers' real and perceived needs, uncover any unarticulated needs and see opportunities before they are obvious to others

-the market, its size and the competitive landscape

-the continuing evolution of supply chains and enabling technologies

* Understand competitor offerings in order to identify differentiated propositions that deliver value for our customers and drive revenue for the organisation

* Seek and develop potential partnerships or alliances with internal or external suppliers to bolster capability and proposition development

* Ensure a strong business case with clear benefits and financial returns is developed ahead of sign off

* Create and manage the project plan to implement the proposition within the division, if applicable or in conjunction with commercial and operations

* Develop a credible Go See Experience of the proposition to demonstrate it to existing and potential customers, as part of the sales process

* Support the new business team with the appropriate material for each proposition, for future sales pitches

* Work with the new business team to create the appropriate material for client proposals to clearly explain the features and benefits of each proposition and how it integrates with our overall service offering

* Work with the new business team to create case studies for each proposition on an on-going basis, ensuring they are fully up to date over time

* Work closely with the Innovation and Digital team and The ASCI (in time), to ensure we identify and develop the appropriate propositions for the future success of our business

* Build strong relationships and support the team with formal and informal connections with company operations, new business and commercial teams, to ensure we deeply understand the needs of our existing and potential customers and as such focus on developing the appropriate propositions to take to market

* Work with the Senior Propositions Manager to create commercial models for each proposition and support this on an on-going basis through to proposition maturity

* Build awareness of the propositions internally

* Use company structure to support proposition development to identify, coordinate and support immediate opportunities across the division and the wider Group

The ideal candidate will be/have:

* Graduate or equivalent

* Experience in proposition development

* Experience in project management

* Capability to engage with stakeholders across multiple organisations at all levels

* Strong project management skills

* Strong financial skills

* Deep understanding of Supply Chains and their enabling technologies

* Strong skills in Innovation

* Strategic proposition development skills

* Strong time-management skills

* Strong organisational/ co-ordination skills

* Presentation skills

* Data analysis skills

* Good MS office skills
